Bobby Grove, Prince George, Virginia, bought a 1985 used 1984' Pace Arrow RV from a friend. This RV had 45,000 mi. and had been given good care and maintenance. It had a Chevy 454 with a generator and two AC units. His friend told Bobby that the mileage was not good and he usually got 5 mpg regardless of driving conditions.

Bobby tuned the Pace Arrow up and found a broken plug wire. He took a 150 mi. trip and they got 6.1 miles per gallon. The Pace Arrow was then switched over to AMSOIL synthetics completely. He put AMSOIL 0W-30 synthetic oil in the engine, AMSOIL 75W-90 synthetic gear lube in the differential, packed the wheel bearings with AMSOIL grease, changed the oil in his transmission to AMSOIL synthetic ATF and added AMSOIL PI Performance Improver to his fuel tank. They made the 150 mile trip again and calculated the mileage and to Bobby's delight he got 7.9 mile per gallon. A month later they took a trek to a campground in western Virginia, and this trip involved traveling over the Blue Ridge Mountains. When they arrived the campground Bobby filled up the tank and calculated his MPG and to his amazement got 9.9 miles per gallon. The next trip was to Virginia Beach, Virginia, a 200 mile trip traveling on level terrain, they ran the Air Conditioners the entire trip. When Bobby filled the gas tank and came up with mileage of 10.2 miles per gallon. Bobby has been a long time AMSOIL user and knew the Motor Home would do better but didn't anticipate these kind of results.

Port Fuel Injector Deposits form after the engine has been shut down and there is no gasoline flowing through the injectors.
