Revolutionary Air Filter Technology
Nanofiber is a phrase referring to a fiber or fibers with diameters less than a micron. Cellulose fibers are bigger than nanofibers and have bigger gaps between the fibers, they allows contaminants to plug up in the media and restrict the airflow, resulting in less capacity, and reduced power and fuel economy.

AMSOIL Ea Air filters have a specially engineered cellulose media that incorporate synthetic nanofibers on the surface. Sub micron particles and dust are trapped along the nanofiber surface of the filter, completely preventing those contaminants from lodging down in the filter's media depth.

Here's how it the technology works: Imagine two different filtration media, a mosquito net and a chain link fence. Each one's job is to stop contaminants, in this scenario tennis balls.

A tennis ball will fit quite nicely into an opening of a chain link fence, but will obstruct the hole almost 100 percent. Now, imagine a tennis ball covering a mosquito net. The tennis ball, at the point of contact with the netting, will obstruct much less filter area than the chain link fence example. Engines need air for combustion to occur, air drawn in through the intake system is packed with dirt and contaminants. There's over 400 tons of suspended contaminants and other dirt in a cubic mile of air on a typical city day. Good air flow is vital to extend engine life and maximize performance. Air is essential to release the combustion energy from the fuel you are using.
