This By-Pass oil filter system consists of an adapter that attaches to the mounting threads where you usually put your oil filter. And a bracket that holds the your normal full flow oil filter and on the other side of that bracket the "By-Pass Filter" is mounted. The kit can be installed in the engine compartment. If there is not adequate room to install the system in the vehicle's engine compartment, then it can be installed in the wheel well area, in front of the radiator, or in the case of some truck owners, you can mount the system under the truck inside the frame.
