Excellent - The best recommendation for the oils. This is the best choice for the application. The oil is specifically engineered for the specific operating conditions of the engines in these markets. There can only be one "Excellent" oil recommendation in a category.

Very Good - A good primary choice recommendation for the oil. This recommendation identifies a 2 cycle oil that is very good in the operating conditions of these engines.

Good - Secondary recommendation for a 2 cycle oil. This oil was not specifically engineered for these types of applications, but the chemistry of this oil is well suited for the operating conditions of these engines.

Not Recommended - This recommendation identifies an application where the 2 cycle was not intended for this use. Use excellent rated products, they offer the utmost in superior performance.

For Racing -

(1) Is not recommended for long term use in outboard boat motors as a TC-W3 oil, although it is excellent as a racing oil for short term use only where the motors can be periodically inspected.
(2) Is excellent in racing and modified engines. In recreational use rated Very Good.
